About This Section
This part of Target Selection is given over entirely to orb trading profit targets, from first specification through to what the finished work should look like.
What This Section Covers
The scope here is deliberately tight. A page trying to address every trade in every city ends up saying nothing specific about any of them, and specifics are the only part worth reading.
What Guides Cannot Do
Guides describe the general case. It is background, meant to make the conversation with a contractor a more informed one.
How the Guides Are Written
Guides concentrate on judgement calls rather than procedure. That means no filler introduction, no restating the question, and no padding a straightforward answer out to hit a length target.
Independence
Target Selection has no stake in which firm a reader ends up hiring. It does not perform the work it describes, does not accept payment for a favorable mention, and has no financial interest in which contractor a reader chooses.
